Bob Moreau - Owner
Bob Moreau’s experience in the high-tech and financial services industry spans over 20 years. Bob has developed the necessary skills to provide financial institutions with guidance in the areas of core and application selection. Bob specializes in assisting banks with improving process flow and achieving higher profitability within their organization. Bob has also saved banks thousands of dollars by renegotiating their core contracts.
Bob’s previous experience involves multiple positions at Compushare in Las Colinas including National Director and Senior Banking Consultant. Bob developed a core evaluation product offering where he created criteria for selecting core applications based on a bank’s current and future requirements.Bob also developed a strategic planning product offering where bank’s utilized Virtual CIO services from senior banking consultants.One of the deliverables from these engagements was a full 3 year strategic plan which was aligned with the bank business goals.
Prior to Compushare Bob worked with Infinet Inc. in Addison, Texas, including roles as a Senior System Engineer and Engineering Manager. In his position as Engineering Manager, Bob was responsible for a seven-member engineering team, where he mentored, assigned priorities and managed customer relationships. He was also a project manager for large-scale projects, focusing on project planning, coordination of resources, timely implementation and exceeding customer objectives and expectations. One such project, for instance, required Bob to build a multi LAN, 12 server, 150 seat environment for a New Horizons training and testing facility. This half a million dollar, 60 day project utilized Microsoft Project 2000 and Visio 2000 to produce customer deliverable schedules with milestones.
Bob completed an MBA in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix with a GPA of 3.84. Bob maintains a PMP project management certification. Bob also graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science. He also maintains multiple network engineer certifications in Microsoft (MCSE) and Citrix (CCEA).
